Grandparent Resource

This is a very good overview of the challenges young parents are facing today in the tech world. We grandparents can be a good resource to lovingly support our children as they negotiate with their children, the inevitable struggles they will have around the hole device-time and unrestricted content tech can provide.

Excellent information.

A fantastic summary of four years valuable podcasting

Overall, it is fantastic, and an excellent reference for people who are new to the concept that digital devices are designed to be addictive. I would recommend that everyone read it, even if you don't have kids. It's a message that needs to be spread. The only downside is that very few specific examples are provided. I know that this is done to avoid dating the book, but it would still be helpful as the addiction mechanics present in the current games (like WoW) and social media apps (like TikTok) are not going to change necessarily in future games and apps, and having a specific example to tie the psychological pieces back to might help with the analysis of whether or not to partake in it.

Must read for parents and grandparents and pastors

This book is an excellent resource for anyone with an influence on younger people. You will be better informed and better equipped to help them steward their tech use...as well as take stock of how you are using your own phone/tablet/computer/etc. Nathan's passion for Christ and knowledge of the subject shine through in every chapter.
